So, you want to get your business ranked on the top of Google, Yahoo and Bing
Well, there are only two ways to do it. One is putting a lot of time into optimising your site and doing the various tasks for hours each day, and the other is to work out an affordable budget for your search engine optimization and marketing, and to hire reputable and reliable people to do it for you.
Some SEO systems may seem to cost a lot but there are inexpensive and free methods that can give you good results. Search Engine Optimisaton (SEO) like any other approach in information technology is always evolving. There are any number of methods that can help to land you in that sweet spot, on the top ten rankings of Google or one of the other well known search engines so long as you are willing to keep abreast of the updates and changes and put in the time to implement a daily strategy.
To tell you the truth, there is no big secret to SEO.
Essentially you can get information on the numerous web optimisation tasks that you need to carry out every day anywhere in the Internet. The problem is that you may not be able to tell the good and current advice from the outdated information and techniques that you find. It takes a lot of time, patience and practise to get SEO right.
Lets have a look at some of the SEO options you have available to you.
1. Link exchanges
One inexpensive (but very time consuming) SEO method that can get you good results is link exchanges. What this means is that you are inking to your site both and from other web sites. When you know what you are doing, and depending on the quality of the websites that you would like to exchange links with, this method can be low cost or free – if you do not take into consideration your time. As you link with more and more quality sites you will be surprised at how the link juice will bring you an eventual spiking up of your page ranking.
2. Write or acquire key word rich articles
Writing truly informative and keyword-rich articles is one sure-fire way to make your Internet business more visible to the people searching for the items and services you have on offer. There are two methods for creating a successful article marketing SEO campaign: – One is to write your own articles and the other is to acquire articles from article directories that allow you to post pre-written articles on your website. The caveat is that you keep the resource box or the author’s by-line intact. You should be careful not to get too carried away and stuff your articles so full with keywords that even idiots will get bored with reading them.
Remember that the quality, originality and readability of your articles will be the foundation of your website’s reputation and visitors will only choose to hang out with you based on how well you inform or entertain them. Good writing will keep your readers happy and they will come back to your website for more.
3. Organize your site navigation
Providing easy steps in navigating your site is one way to make your visitors feel at home and at ease with your site. This, in turn, will improve the flow of traffic to your website.
4. Optimise you website so the search engine crawlers can read it.
When optimising your website, there are a few basic issues that you should keep in mind. Major search-engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo are in constant competition to deliver the best results for their users. Search-engines regularly change the algorithms they use to determine the relevancy and importance of your site.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques are constantly changing and even then, many SEO agencies disagree on the actual specifics required to optimise a website.
There are only a few things that SEO’s generally agree on:
Content is important, especially dynamic content that is regularly updated, and sticky content like good quality, short educational videos for instance.
You should also think about:
- Optimising Content
- Keyword Optimisation
- URL Canonicalization
- Optimisation of HTML Tags – title tag, meta tags, header tags (h1 tags), image alt tags and formatting tags
- Keyword Density
- Header Tags
- Text Formatting
- Text Close to Top Left
- Key Phrases (or Keywords)
- Alt Text
- Incoming Links
- SEO Tools
Search Engine Optimization is essential to your business success.
Being realistic about it, whichever SEO route you decide to take, if you want to drive targeted traffic to your website search engine optimization is essential. Maximizing the benefits of a well optimized website will yield an increase in earnings.
SEO is not brain surgery however, if you are not well schooled abut your SEO options, and you are trying to go it alone you might find you are in over your head. If you use the wrong approach for your type of business or for the outcome you want to achieve it might cost you thousands of dollars in time and energy before you see any result.
I so not want to be the harbinger of bad news, but I can tell you from painful and personal experience that if you want to keep up with your competitors and if you are serious about making money on-line, especially when you are first getting started in business, it makes sense to seek out a reliable SEO Service.
By outsourcing your SEO you are stacking the odds in your favour.
es that will take on the tasks, and many others, that are mentioned in this article. This is by far the best way to give you a good head start and boost your rankings and visibility in a market place where businesses get pushed out of the limelight every day.

Why is DoFollow & NoFollow Crucial to YOUR Google Page Rank?
Only a few hours ago I had no idea what DoFollow and NoFollow Blogs were or why that was important to me!
Now I understand why DoFollow is crucial to my Blog’s success, the relevance of link building, page ranking, how to increase my page visibility and popularity with those all important search engines and get a bit more Google Love…
… and if it’s OK with you I’m going to share what I’ve discovered
What is DoFollow and NoFollow and why is it important to you?
Now if you are like me the phrases DoFollow and NoFollow may well go right over your head make your eyes glaze over, but bear with me here because the information I am about to impart is, if you implement it immediately, is going to help the search engines RANK your Blog higher.
The simple explanation of PageRank is that each website that includes a link to your website or deep-links to one of your web-pages is voting for your website or your web-page.
These types of links, are called back-links.
What is a ‘back-link’ and why do you need it?
A back-link is an incoming link posted or created on another site resulting in a clickable link that leads back to your website.
Back-links are one important way that the search engines estimate and measure the popularity of every website. The more popular your site the higher your page rank, and the higher the page rank (from 0 to 10) the better it will rank on Google.
To gain any kind of rank it is imperative that you have back-links and it is essential that your site increases its back-links on a weekly basis.
The greater the quality (higher the page rank) of the website that links to your website the greater the inferred quality of your website.
Therefore getting back-links, especially from high ranking websites, increases your visibility to the search engines and improves your chances for getting closer to Google’s top pages.
OK, if we are clear about that crucial snippet of information (and it took me a while to get it) we can move on to why as a Blogger, it’s important to understand the difference between DoFollow and NoFollow Blogs.
I’ll do my best to keep this clear and simple (I’m no techie, I’m simply doing my best to understand how Blog popularity works and hopefully demystifying things for you at the same time
A NoFollow Blog is simply a blog that has a code (hyperlink inclusion) that tells search engines to ignore your link. This means that when you comment on another persons blog YOUR blog does not get any credibility or influence and your page rank will not go up.
Now, this was not a malicious act on the part of the coders – it was a strategy set up to helps overwhelmed webmasters disallow spammers from gaining any kind of page rank advantage by popping an unwanted link on a popular page.
Great for webmasters but this made the essential process of effective link building difficult for honest people too.
So What is DoFollow?
DoFollow is simply an internet slang term given to web pages or sites that dis-allow NoFollow.
So, when you leave a comment on a DoFollow Blog you DO get a back-link that the search engines track to YOUR website (link juice). Furthermore when you own a DoFollow Blog you
And you don’t need to worry about those spammers because you can get PlugIns that prevent spam comments (although you will still need to monitor your comments and approve them manually to keep your comments clear)
Askimet & Si Captcha Anti-Spam will do the job for you.
OK, I hope that is clear.
Now to understand how to utilise DoFollow and increase your link juice and boost your page ranking take a very good look at these two posts
